“Full toddler reaction", "Very girly punch": Fans react after footage emerges of Kyle Busch hitting Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s father

The recently wrapped-up NASCAR All-Star Race witnessed a violent altercation between Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. soon after the North Wilkesboro Speedway run got done and dusted. The brawl ensued as a consequence of the Richard Childress Racing driver's deliberate wreck into the JTG Daugherty driver's #47 Ford.

Moving forward, a close-up video of Busch has surfaced wherein the veteran driver was seen venting his rage on Stenhouse Sr. after getting beaten by the latter's son. Seeing the #8 Chevy driver hitting the rival's father has attracted backlash from the NASCAR fanbase as they have taunted Busch's move over the 65-year-old man.

Momentarily after the 200-lap kicked off, Michael McDowell was on the inside line, Kyle Busch on the outside, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. seeped into the small room between the two, nudging the #8 Chevrolet towards the outside wall between turns 1 and 2. Busch avenged the JTG Daugherty driver's move by emulating the act on the next lap.

Shortly after the million-dollar debacle was over, the fight ensued. While Stenhouse Jr.'s father pushed Kyle Busch away from his son, the enraged driver vented his frustration on Stenhouse Sr.

The fans were quick to throw jibes at the two-time Cup Series champion's act and poured in their reactions. One fan taunted the driver for being a "toddler":

"1. Kyle is crying. Full toddler reaction. 2. 65 years old ate that shit. Soft hands. Maybe some gym time in the offseason," the fan wrote.

"The expression on Kyle‘s face and Sr’s reaction, tell me that must have been a very girly punch," another fan added.

"Kyle has the face of a guy who just got sucker punched twice," one fan opined.

One fan drew parallels between Kyle Busch's punch and the famed MMA artist Conor McGregor:

"Kyle Busch is the new Connor mcgregor," the fan wrote.

This fan praised Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s father for enduring Busch's punch:

"Weak. Old man took it like a champ," they opined.

One fan took a dig at the 39-year-old's fight face:

"Kyle does not have a good fight face," the fan commented.

The second lap run on the 0.625-mile oval saw Kyle Busch pulling a similar move on Ricky Stenhouse Jr. While Denny Hamlin used the inside line and the #47 Ford trailed between the mid and high line, the Las Vegas native forcibly pressed into the gap, sending the #47 Ford into the wall and out of the race.

After the RCR driver finished his All-Star Race in 10th place, he headed straight towards the JTG Daugherty driver who was already waiting to have a word with the former. However, the heated exchange soon turned violent, and Stenhouse Jr. pounced on Busch.

In a bid to retaliate, the #8 Chevrolet driver tried to fight back but was blocked by Stenhouse Sr., who remained steadfast despite receiving a couple of hits and didn't let the RCR driver approach his son.

During a conversation with Corey LaJoie in the Stacking Pennies podcast, the #47 Ford driver unfurled his father's affinity to fight and said:

"Dad likes to fight. Dirt racer from back home. I saw him and I was just making sure everybody wasn’t gonna [beat him] or each other. And it looked like all the crew guys were grabbing each other, him included. Just grabbing each other.” (31.21)

After having a violent exchange with Kyle Busch, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. revealed his desire to lock horns with the former in a charity match.
