Kenny Wallace raced in the NASCAR Cup Series between 1990 and 2008; however, he wasn't very successful in the series as he only gained 27 top-ten finishes and no wins in the 344 races he ran. Notably, his performances in the Xfinity Series were much better as he secured 9 wins, a 2nd place finish in the 1991 season, and 173 top ten finishes in over 540 races.
Although he retired from professional racing a while back, he is planning to get his foot down on the throttle once again in early 2025.
Kenny Wallace to race in the DIRTcar Nationals in 2025
Wallace recently confirmed his schedule to participate in the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway in Daytona Beach in late January and early February. This will be the first few races of the series' 2025 calendar.
Wallace announced this on his X account, writing:
"I will be racing the @DIRTcarNats at @VolusiaSpeedway from January 30th through February 8th. See you there 🏁"
In one of the recent editions of the "Coffee with Kenny" series on his X account, he had mentioned his plans to race at Volusia in 2025. He mentioned that the dirt races would be running in nine nights, something he found a little confusing.
"We start racing January 30th, January 31st, and February 1st. It's a new schedule at Volusia this year. I don't know why, but we're running dirt races in nine nights. We start January 30th. You're gonna hear racers go, 'I'm going down in January this year.' That's because you race three days," he said (at 7:34).
Wallace has remained a prominent figure in the stock racing world courtesy of his active social media engagement. The 61-year-old remains highly active on his platforms, providing his followers unique perspectives on fresh NASCAR decisions and happenings.
