The drivers of the NASCAR Cup Series are scheduled to be at the 2.2-mile-long street course on Sunday, July 7, as the action at the season’s 20th racing weekend continues at the Chicago Street Course.

In Saturday’s (July 6) Cup Series qualifying, Kyle Larson won his fifth NASCAR Cup Series pole of the season to lead the 40-driver field to the green flag in the street of Chicago. The event is scheduled to begin on Sunday at 4:30 pm ET.

Shane van Gisbergen, who won the inaugural Chicago Cup race last year, is the favorite to win it again.

The weather forecast for Sunday at Chicago is mostly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon, with a high temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit and an 18 percent chance of rain at the start of the Grant Park 165.
