Former NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace recently shared a series of photos with Helio Castroneves and Brad Keselowski. Wallace, from his official X account, shared pictures with the upcoming Daytona 500 drivers from their SRX racing days.
Wallace, who is quite active on social media and is renowned for the Kenny Conversation show on X and YouTube, posted four pictures altogether. One of them was with the upcoming Trackhouse Racing driver Helio Castroneves and current Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing co-owner and driver, Brad Keselowski.
Sharing the images, Wallace wrote,
"Kenny Wallace and @h3lio and @keselowski talking racing."
Notably, all three aforementioned drivers competed in the Superstar Racing Experience, popularly known as SRX as recently as 2023. Many NASCAR drivers give SRX a go because of its popularity in the racing fraternity.
The SRX racing competition is also known as the Camping World SRX Series, a form of stock car racing series founded by former NASCAR driver and team owner Tony Stewart.
Kenny Wallace's post with Helio Castroneves surfaced amid the latter's surprising 2025 Daytona entry in both Cup and ARCA Menards Series with Trackhouse Racing.
Team co-owner Justin Marks recently shared that Castroneves, the IndyCar legend, will drive the #91 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Trackhouse alongside Ross Chastain, Shane Van Gisbergen and Daniel Suarez.
Helio Castroneves let his feelings known after Daytona 500 Confirmation
Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves recently shared his thoughts after making it to the 2025 Daytona 500. The Brazilian driver will be in charge of Wendy's livery Chevrolet at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday, February 16.
Reacting to his entry in one of the biggest stock car races, Castroneves said,
"Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would enter a NASCAR race and certainly not the Daytona 500 with a team like Trackhouse Racing. This is an opportunity that nobody in their right mind could ever turn down."
"I am so thankful to Wendy’s for allowing me to wear their uniform and drive their car, (Trackhouse owner) Justin Marks and everyone that made this happen. I wish the race were tomorrow!" he added.
In the ARCA Menards Series, Castroneves will drive the #82 Pinnacle Racing Group car. Hailing from Sao Paulo, Castroneves is a renowned IndyCar and Champ Car driver.
The 49-year-old's best finishes in the American form of Open-wheel racing came in 2002, 2008, 2013, and 2014 when he finished the seasons in runners-up positions. Meanwhile, his illustrious IndyCar career consists of 315 races in over 24 years, where he claimed 25 wins, 48 pole positions, and 84 podiums.
In the Champ Car, Castroneves participated in 79 races in over four years, claiming six wins, seven pole positions, and 10 podiums.
