Trackhouse Racing senior executive Ty Norris has joined Kaulig Racing as its Chief Business Officer. Amid the NASCAR rumor, Matt Kaulig's organization has officially confirmed the news of its newest addition.

Kaulig Racing currently fields two full-time Cup Series entries. The #31 Chevy is driven by Daniel Hemric and the #16 by multiple drivers including AJ Allmendinger, Shane van Gisbergen, and Ty Dillon. Moreover, it has three full-time Xfinity Series cars driven by Josh Williams, Allmendinger, and Shane van Gisbergen.

In a statement posted by Kaulig Racing on X (formerly Twitter), Norris' new role is focused on future partnerships and long-term strategy with the team owner Kaulig and president Chris Rice. Additionally, Norris has a background of working with organizations like Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Michael Waltrip Racing. The statement read:

"Bringing Norris and his wealth of knowledge to the executive team is one of several major moves Kaulig and Rice are making to solidify the trajectory of its NASCAR Cup Series program well into the future."

With a background in media relations and journalism, Norris will bring a wealth of experience to Kaulig. Moreover, he has been with Trackhouse Racing since its inception in 2021.

A change in the Trackhouse Racing heirarchy is another shake-up to the Justin Marks and Pitbull-owned organization.

As reported by Fox Sports journalist Bob Pockrass, Marks shared a statement after Ty Norris' exit from Trackhouse to Kaulig Racing.

“We greatly appreciate the role Ty Norris has played in the creation and growth of Trackhouse Racing. We have a bright and exciting future thanks to his contributions. We wish our friend the best of luck.”

Trackhouse currently fields two full-time cars in the Cup Series: the #99 Chevy driven by Daniel Suarez and the #1 by Ross Chastain. The North Carolina-based organization earlier this season also cut ties with Zane Smith, who was on loan to Spire Motorsports.

Furthermore, Marks has signed Shane van Gisbergen as a full-time Cup Series driver from the 2025 season. The Kiwi is currently driving full-time for Kaulig, piloting the #97.
