Kaulig Racing is an American professional stock automobile racing team competing in the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series. Founded by Matt Kaulig, the team has established itself as a competitive force, thanks to its partnership with Richard Childress Racing and the backing of LeafFilter, one of Kaulig’s companies. While Kaulig Racing can be new in the game compared to some of NASCAR's powerhouses, it has already proven its ability with more than 28 race victories, as of September 2024.

In 2024, Kaulig Racing fields two full-time cars in the NASCAR Cup Series. The No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 features a rotation of drivers and the No. 31 is driven full-time via Daniel Hemric. The team is even more prominent in the Xfinity Series, with 3 full-time cars, the No. 11 driven by Josh Williams, the No. 16 by A.J. Allmendinger and the No. 97 by Shane van Gisbergen in a unique partnership with Trackhouse Racing. Kaulig Racing also runs the No. 10 part-time for Daniel Dye, showcasing its depth across multiple series.

Kaulig Racing was founded in 2016 by Matt Kaulig, who was seeking to carry a fresh approach to NASCAR racing. Originally starting within the NASCAR Xfinity Series with one vehicle, the team gained momentum with driver Blake Koch, and later expanded with notable drivers like A.J. Allmendinger. By 2019, the team had earned its first win in the Xfinity Series, showcasing its potential in stock automobile racing.

In 2020, Kaulig Racing made its NASCAR Cup Series debut, running part-time before fully committing to the series in 2022. The crew has grown rapidly, now fielding multiple cars in both the Cup and Xfinity Series. With a focus on innovation and overall performance, Kaulig Racing continues to rise as an aggressive force in NASCAR.

Matt Kaulig is the current and primary proprietor of Kaulig Racing, a team he founded in 2016.
