NASCAR Cup Series 2024: Full entry list for YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season returns to Lincoln, Alabama, for the YellaWood 500 this weekend following the Kansas race. YellaWood 500 is the 31st NASCAR Cup Series race of the 2024 season and the second race of Round of 12, set to be held on Sunday, October 6, at Talladega Superspeedway.

The Cup event at Talladega Superspeedway will kick off at 2 pm ET and broadcast on NBC Sports. It will be contested over 188 laps with 500 miles on the 2.66-mile-long tri-oval superspeedway.

Sunday’s event marks the 56th annual YellaWood 500, hosted by Talladega Superspeedway. FOX Sports’ renowned journalist Bob Pockrass shared the list of drivers in the 2024 YellaWood 500 on X.

Forty drivers will take the field, and six have changed on this weekend’s docket: #13 Kaulig Racing’s AJ Allmendinger, #15 Rick Ware Racing’s Cody Ware, #16 Kaulig Racing’s Cody Ware, #44 NY Racing Team’s JJ Yeley, #62 Beard Motorsports’ Anthony Alfredo, and #78 Live Fast Motorsports’ BJ McLeod.

Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney won last year’s YellaWood 500 in three hours, 07 minutes, and 25 seconds.
