AJ Allmendinger's wife Tara revealed that she was throwing away her underwear because of the toxic and harmful chemicals they were made from. She further appealed to other women to join her in raising awareness about this and begin by purchasing non-carcinogenic undergarments.
Tara Allmendinger reshared an Instagram post on her story that mentioned a lab test that proved that popular brands and fast fashion companies were using toxic substances over the permissible limit to create their products. The user, going by @peter.zezas on IG, also mentioned that those products contained carcinogens that could harm one's hormones and affect the reproductive system and/or thyroid.
Allmendinger, reacting to this post on a follow-up Instagram story, revealed that she was throwing away her underwear.
"Not me before 8 am throwing away all of my underwear which I sort of expected the clothing thing because I'm feeling kind of funny lately, like mentally," she claimed.
Allmendinger further appealed to her followers to take similar steps and purchase non-carcinogenic clothing because these clothes had the possibility to mess with one's reproductive system (as mentioned in the post).
"And I've been wondering, this stuff is pretty close to some important parts, and our infertility rates in this country and the cyst, especially on ovaries in women and endometriosis."
"So ladies, as hard as it is, and as long as I'm holding onto all of this underwear for whatever reason, I'm going to challenge you to buy non-carcinogenic underwear...So I'm going to challenge you to throw away your panties and dig into this health thing with me, but the underwear first. Throw the underwear away that you've been holding onto for way too long, like me," she concluded.
Tara Allmendinger frequently shares healthcare-related posts on her Instagram stories, raising awareness actively with her 20k+ followers. At the same time, she also posts wholesome pictures of her family, AJ Allmendinger and son Aero.
Tara shared remarkable picture of father-son duo AJ Allmendinger and Aero
Tara recently took to social media to share a set of images featuring her husband AJ Allmendinger and their son Aero. Both father and son were grinning ear-to-ear, making the same pose. She mentioned this in the caption, writing:
"No doubt they are related. 🤣 AJ and Aero 💙"
Both Tara and AJ Allmendinger have faced quite a few complications becoming parents for the first time. Their son Aero was born with a rare congenital disability called craniosynostosis. This condition, which affects one in every 2,500 babies, happens when the bones in a baby's skull fuse before the brain fully develops.
Aero was required to undergo surgery shortly after birth. After the successful surgery, he was also made to wear a specially crafted helmet to help with his recovery. He has made a full recovery and was recently seen for the first time in almost a year without the helmet.
