Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch's wife Samantha recently revealed that their 8-year-old son Brexton saw his father's physical altercation with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. during this year's All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway. However, Samantha mentioned that she had kept Brexton from seeing the fight firsthand.

Busch, often known as 'Rowdy', won the NASCAR Cup Series championship in 2015 and 2019 and has made consecutive Championship 4 appearances from 2015 to 2019. He has 63 wins under his belt in the Cup Series. Busch also claimed the 2009 Xfinity Series championship.

Busch's son Brexton follows in the footsteps of his father, driving the number 18b at junior sprint races, outlaw karts, and Bandoleros. He won the Beginner Box Stock Division Championship at Millbridge Speedway and Mountain Creek Speedway in 2023.

While Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway was halted after the completion of lap 249, Brexton's mother Samantha posted a few pictures of herself and captioned them, saying:

"Oh hey 👋🏻 If you’re waiting out the rain delay like me how about a little q&a in the comments below before we go back racing to pass the time ⬇️"

A fan asked how she explained the controversy between Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to young Brexton. To this, Samantha replied:

"Just had an honest conversation about what happened and let him ask any questions he wanted to about the situation, so that he felt like he could talk to us about whatever he was feeling or wanted clarity on. We were in the hauler and I didn’t let him see anything but unfortunately he saw it during one of the race shows. So just always want to create a space for him where he can talk to us"

Kyle Busch's day at Charlotte Motor Speedway last week was ruined by a series of pit road penalties which ultimately handed him a P15 finish.

Kyle Busch describes his race at Charlotte in two words: "Seesaw night"

Moments after the race, Kyle Busch talked to John Newby of NBC Sports, revealing that he spent most of the race handling a "loose-handling Chevy" and "struggling to get through traffic."

"It was a seesaw night for the zone Chevrolet team in this year’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We were off the mark early in the race battling a loose-handling Chevy and struggling to get through traffic. We ended up one lap down after our first pit stop due to a penalty for an uncontrolled tire. Fortunately, we made that up by the end of the first stage," Busch said.

He added that his crew chief Randall Burnett had to make a lot of adjustments to his number 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at the end of the first stage of the race. Nevertheless, he felt he could have gained a few more spots had the race run its expected 400 laps.

"Crew chief Randall Burnett made a ton of changes throughout the race, especially at the end of Stage 1. All the guys on the zone team worked hard and improved the balance of the car. We worked our way inside the top-10 for a few laps before the last round of stops but we were just too tight in the center and too loose off to stay there. I think we could have picked up a couple more spots if we had finished the race," he added.

Currently, Kyle Busch is 14th in the NASCAR Cup Series point standings with 346 points to his name. Busch now prepares for his next race at the World Wide Technology Raceway on June 3.
