Austin Cindric is from Columbus, Ohio, in the United States, and is a professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. Cindric drives the No. 2 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team Penske and is a NASCAR champion. He won the Xfinity Series in 2020 and was also the Regular Season champion during the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship. He was awarded the NASCAR Rookie of the Year honors in 2022 and has been racing in the Cup Series for 3 years. Cindric is also the winner of the prestigious Daytona 500 race, having won the race in 2022.

Austin Cindric's Early Life

Austin Cindric, born to Timothy J. Cindric and Megan Cindric on September 2, 1998, is known for racing in various racing series like the Road to Indy Ladder and the Global RallyCross Championship alongside his NASCAR adventures. Cindric started racing in the Legends and Bandolero series and attended Skip Barber Racing School to gain experience in Road Racing.

He has previously raced with Andretti Motorsports in the U.S. F2000 National Championship. Cindric achieved a 17th-place finish in the drivers' standings with Andretti. He has also competed in Historic Sportscar Racing winning a race in the Porsche 944. He made his NASCAR debut in 2015 in the Camping World Truck Series. Cindric drove for Brad Keselowski Racing at Martinsville Speedway.
