Austin Louis Cindric is a professional American auto racing driver, driving the No. 2 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team Penske. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. Cindric’s appearance in NASCAR started with him racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2015. Making his way to the top, Cindric raced in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and then in the NASCAR Cup Series. He has won the Daytona 500 in 2022 as well.

Cindric was born on September 2, 1998, in Columbus, Ohio, U.S. He graduated from Canon School on May 18, 2017. Cindric started his driving career in semi-professional Legends car and Bandolero racing in North Carolina. Cindric raced in the U.S. F2000 National Championship in 2013 and 2014. He also competed in Historic Sportscar Racing, winning it in a Porsche 944.
