Jacob Trouba is an American professional ice hockey defenseman, playing for the Anaheim Ducks in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on February 26, 1994, in Rochester, Michigan, and was selected ninth overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2012 NHL Draft.

During his tenure with the Jets, he helped the team reach the conference finals for the first time in 2018.
