Aaron Brown: A Brief Biography
Aaron Brown is a Canadian track and field athlete born on 27th May 1992. He hails from Ontario city of Toronto in Canada. Brown specializes in sprinting and represents Canada in 100m and 200m events.
Background:
Aaron Brown was born to Ian Brown and Sans Brown. He was born and brought up in the Ontario city in Toronto. Brown has an elder sister, Keisha Williams, and a younger one, Alyssa Brown.
Brown had an athletic interest at a very young age. He attended the Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute, where his athletic talent was spotted by high school Bill Stephen and took him under his wings. Under the tutelage of Bill, Brown began to run track at the age of 16.
In 2010, after completion of high school education, Aaron Brown moved to California and joined the University of Southern California on a track scholarship. He became a part of USC Trojans and represented them in NCAA Championships
Aaron Brown completed his graduation from USC in 2014, with a degree majoring in Political Science and a minor in Business.
Rise to Glory
Aaron Brown came into the international scene at the age of 17 when he won the Silver medal in 100m race at the 2009 World Youth Athletics Championships. The following year, Brown won the Bronze medal in 200m at the World Junior Athletics Championships.
In 2011, Brown won his first senior national medal by winning the Bronze in the 100m dash at the Canada Track and Field Championships. That year, he bagged the Silver medal and a Bronze in 4x100m relay and 100m respectively at the Pan-American Junior Games.
In 2013, Aaron Brown won his first national title at the national championships in Moncton, Canada. In 2018, he won the Silver medal in 200m, followed by a Gold medal in the 4x100m relay at the NACAC Championships in Toronto, Canada.
Aaron Brown is being recorded as the joint 59th fastest 200m runner (19.95s) and joint 91st fastest 100m runner (9.96s) in the world.

Aaron Brown made his senior international debut at the 2012 London Olympics, where he finished 4th in 200m semi-finals and thus couldn’t qualify for the finals. The following year, Brown won his first international medal by clinching Bronze in 4x100m relay at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow, Russia.
In 2015, at the World Athletics Championships, Brown helped his Canada relay team to win a Bronze medal again, while he finished 27th in the 200m heats. A year later, he appeared in his second Olympics and made it to the podium finish alongside the Canada relay team with a Bronze medal in the 4x100m relay at the Rio Olympics.
In 2017, Aaron Brown won his first international Gold medal in the 4x100m relay at the World Athletics Relays. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, he represented Canada and won the Silver medal in 200m sprints.
