Ajay Singh is an Indian football player who plays as a forward for FC Pune City in the Indian Super League. He was born on 28 March 1989 in Rupnagar, Punjab, India.
Background
Ajay Singh started his football career playing for Jagatjit Cotton and Textile Football Club (JCT) youth team in the year 2008 and played for them until 2010.
In his first game for JCT in I-League, Ajay led his team to a 2-0 win against Sporting Clube de Goa as he scored a goal and was adjudged Man of the Match.
Rise to glory
After playing for four different clubs in four successive years, Singh delivered admirable performances for Lonestar Kashmir in the 2015 I-League 2nd Division where he scored 11 goals in equal number of games.
Ajay Singh has ample of experience playing for a variety of Indian clubs. His experience and ability to find the back of the net helped him to secure a contract with FC Pune City in the Indian Super League.

Club Career
Ajay Singh has played for several Indian football clubs through the years. He was a part of the JCT Under-19 squad that won the 2011 I-League Under-19 championship in the 2010-11 I-League season. He also played seven matches and scored 6 goals for the senior JCT team.
He played for Indian Arrows (now Pailan Arrows in 2011-12 season. His only goal for the club came against HAL as he helped his team win the match 2-1.
Singh moved on and signed for Churchill Brothers for the 2012-13 I-League season. He scored his first and only goal for the club against Shillong Lajong when he came as a substitute in the 55th minute of the game.
Playing for Mohammedan in the 2013-14 I-League season, Singh could manage only a single goal in 11 appearances. He had a better record in the 2015-16 season as he scored 6 goals in 15 games.
Singh continued his club-switching streak and moved to Kolkata based football club Mohun Bagan and scored 3 goals in 5 matches.
