Ashley Yoder MMA

Ashley started her MMA journey at age 18 and made her amateur debut in 2008 at the Indiana Regional MMA circuit. She lost her debut fight against Lee Ramsey but bounced back in her next fight and defeated Kari Ricker. Yoder's career went south after the victory as she went through a 3-fight losing streak before going back on the winning ways and amassing a 2-fight win streak to get her amateur record to 3-4.

Ashley turned professional in 2014 and won her debut fight at Catalina Madril in 15-seconds via armbar submission. She signed with BAMMA USA in 2014 and made her debut at BAMMA USA: Badbeat 13 against Maria Rios. Rios outclassed Yoder and defeated her via unanimous decision.

She rallied back from the loss and went on a 4-fight win steak at BAMMA USA, winning 2 of her fights via first-round armbar submission. Yoder left the promotion and signed with Invicta FC in 2016.

Yoder only fought once in Invicta at Invicta FC 20 against Amber Brown and won in the second round via armbar submission. She left the promotion and signed with the UFC as a participant on The Ultimate Fighter 23.

Ashley won the preliminary fight against Jodie Esquibel via split decision and became the third women's strawweight pick of Team Joanna. Ashely fought Kate Jackson in the elimination round and got outclassed throughout the entire fight and lost via unanimous decision.

Despite the loss, Ashley got signed with the UFC in 2016.

Ashley Yoder made her UFC debut against Justine Kish against UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Abdurakhimov. Yoder came up short in the fight and lost via unanimous decision. Ashley failed to bounce back from the loss and went on to lose her next 2-fights against Angela Hill and Mackenzie Dern via decision.

Angela went back on the winning track in 2018, where she defeated Amanda Cooper and Syuri Kondo via decisions. Yoder went back on the losses column in 2019 as she lost to Randa Markos at UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. Askren and next year to Livia Renata Souza and defeated Miranda Granger.

In 2021, Yoder lost to Angela Hill and Jinh Yu Frey via unanimous decision.
