Early Life and Career

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She trained in boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera.

Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat, finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision.

Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1.

Aspen Ladd Invicta FC

Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16.

Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight, despite this, Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO.

In her last fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21.

Aspen signed with UFC in 2017.

Aspen Ladd UFC

Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory.

She continued her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round and got a performance of the night bonus.

Her first major fight came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both the fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters receiving the Fight of the Night bonus.

Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC on ESPN 7.

In her recent fight for the UFC, she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
