Bakary Kone

Bakary Koné is a Burkinabé football player who plays for French club Lyon as a defender. Koné started his football career at youth side for CFTPK Abidjan in the year 2002 and joined with the club Etoile Filante in 2004 where he became a member of the club only for a year. Subsequently, he inaugurated his professional career with Etoile Filante in 2005 and frequently moved to En Avant Guingamp, Koné played 37 games and scored one goal in the season 2005-06. Moving on , he signed the first team of Guingamp of two-year contract for which he attended for his club up to 2011 along with he played 112 games and netted 7 goals in the five years. Beyond recall , on August 11th 2011 , Bakary Koné signed with Lyon a five year deal for €3.8 million transfer fee though he has been an active participator of the matches for Burkina Faso national team since 2007.
