Bruma is a Portuguese professional footballer, born on 24 October 1994 in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau.
He is a winger and plays for German club RB Leipzig.
Bruma is skillful with his play and has enough amount of pace to switch on his afterburners and swing in a cross.
Background
Bruma moved to Portugal when he was a child. He started his footballing journey at Sporting CP’s academy when he was 12 years old.
He scored 80 goals for the club, making his mark in the youth side on various occasions.
Bruma made his B team debut for Sporting CP in 2012-13.
Debut
On 10 February 2013 Bruma officially made his senior team debut for Sporting CP against C.S. MarÃtimo.
Rise to Glory
Bruma signed for Galatasaray in September 2013 on a 5 year long deal. He was immediately in the UEFA Champions League squad facing Real Madrid in late September.
Bruma scored his first goal for the Turkish club on 18 December in a 4–0 win against Balıkesirspor in the Turkish cup competition.
During his time at Galatasaray, Bruma managed 85 appearances and scored 15 goals in all competitions.
Bruma spent a year loaned off to Real Sociedad in 2015 where he made 33 appearances and scored 3 goals.
On 4 June 2017 Bruma was signed by German club RB Leipzig on a €12.5m fee, he has already made 21 appearances for the club and has scored twice.
Low Points
In January 2014 while playing for Galatasaray, Bruma suffered a knee injury against Tokatspor and was off for the rest of the season. He was finally loaned to Gaziantepspor for the remainder of the season but failed to play any matches.
