Chekrovolu Swuro: A Brief Biography
Chekrovolu Swuro is an Indian archer who represented India in the 2002 Asian Games and 2006 Asian Games held at Busan, South Korea and Doha, Qatar respectively in archery events. She was the member of silver medal winning team in Archery world cup 2011 held at Turin, Italy. Following thsi achievement she qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in both women\'s individual and team Archery. On 31 July 2012, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio announced a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh for archer Chekrovolu Swuro for participating in Olympics.
