Franco made his international debut for India against Pakistan on March 23, 2011 coming on as a substitute for Gouramangi Singh. India won against Pakistan 3-1. He then started for India in his second match for them against Turkmenistan on March 25, 2011, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
