Dixie Carter: A Brief Biography
Dixie Carter-Salinas is an American businesswoman best known for her time as the president of TNA and on-screen character for TNA. She was the president of the company from 2003 to 2016 before leaving the company in 2017.

Sporadic Appearances (2009-2012)
Throughout 2009, Dixie made pay-per-view appearances and interview major talents. After the debut of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff in 2010, Dixie frequently appeared on regular programming and became an on-screen figure.
In 2011, Carter was involved in a storyline with Hulk Hogan for the control of TNA Wrestling. Dixie regained her power in the company when Sting defeated Hulk Hogan at Bound for Glory.
In the summer of 2012, Carter was involved in another rivalry between Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels against AJ Styles. The storyline stated Styles and Carter were having an affair. They put the rumours to rest when they were helping their friend, Claire Lynch.
Dixieland (2013-2014)
In 2013, Carter confronted Styles about the poor comments he made about the company. In this storyline, Carter officially turned heel and feuded with AJ Styles. She aided Bully Ray and Magnus to win the world title over AJ Styles. Carter, along with Rockstar Spud and EC3, formed a stable called Team Dixie and defeated Jeff Hardy in a Dixieland match.
Various Feuds and Special Appearances (2014-2016)
Carter began her feud with MVP as he debuted into TNA as an investor. Team Dixie faced Team MVP in a Lethal Lockdown match and lost. In the aftermath of Lockdown, Dixie feuded with Bully Ray. The rivalry concluded when Bully Ray put Carter through a table.
A year later, Carter returned to television and apologised to the fans for her behaviour over the years for the character she played. She had various special appearances with Matt Hardy, Eric Young, and EC3 before departing from TNA.
