Fernando Luiz Roza, or simply Fernandinho is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Manchester City and the Brazilian national team. Born on 4th May, 1985, the Brazilian has captained both those teams on multiple occasions.
Career
Fernandinho began his footballing career in Brazil with Altetico Paranaense. After three years at the club, he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2005. At the Ukrainian club, Fernandinho scaled several peaks and was even voted by their fans as the best Brazilian to have ever played for the club. He moved to Manchester City after eight trophy-laden campaigns in Ukraine. Since his arrival in England, Fernandinho has been one of the best central midfielders in the league.
For Brazil, he made his debut in 2011 against Germany and has since piled up more than 45 caps for his nation. He was a part of the Brazilian side that finished fourth at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
