Gabriel Alonso Suazo Urbina is a Chilean footballer who was born on 9th August, 1997 in Santiago, Chile. He is a left footed player who plays as a left midfielder. Suazo is playing for Colo-Colo and Chile National team.

Background

Suazo started his career at Colo-Colo youth academy. He made amazing strides for the team and earned a place in the first team during the 2015-16 season.

He made his debut against CD San Marcos de Arica in October 2015 at home which ended in favour of the visitors who won the match 1-0.

He worked hard and remained as an important member of the team and the team achieved promotion to the Premier Division Clausura after they won the Premier Division Apertura.

He improved himself as a player and impressed the coach and the other team managers as well. He scored his first goal for Colo-Colo against Audax Italiano in a 4-0 win at home.

Then he produced some string of good performances which helped the club win the Copa Chile and helped them earn Promotion to the Premier Division Transicion in 2017.

His performances earned him a place in the Chile U20 team. He made 3 appearances for the team before being called up for the National team.

He was selected for Chile International friendly against where he sat on the bench witnessing his team lose 1-2.
