Ivan Perisic

IvanPerisic is a Croatian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg. In 2009, he was on loan for half a season to Roeselare, a team in the Belgian first league.Perisic was in front page headlines, describing him as a new Aljoša Asanović. On 26 August 2009, Club Brugge signedPerisic from Sochaux for €250,000 on a three-year deal. On the opening game of the season,Perisic scored his first goal in a 1-1 draw against Genk.Perisic was the top scorer of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League with 22 goals for Club Brugge, and was elected Player of the Year in Belgium. On 23 May 2011,Perisic signed a five-year contract to play for Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga. It is believed he transferred for €5 million. On 14 October, he scored the first goal in a 2–0 win against Werder Bremen. On 6 January 2013, it was reported thatPerisic transeferred for €8 million to VfL Wolfsburg. He made his competitive debut for Wolfsburg against VfB Stuttgart on January 19th 2013.
