John Guidetti: A Brief Biography
John Alberto Fernando Andres Luigi Olof Guidetti is a Swedish footballer who plays for Manchester City as a striker. Guidetti began his career playing in the Brommapojkarna youth system after leaving Kibera team Bromma Boys and Kenyan football academy Ligi Ndogo. In April 2008, at the age of sixteen, he signed a three-year deal with Manchester City. Guidetti\'s profile saw a fine first season with the Manchester City Under-18 team, scoring 13 times in 13 appearances.He marked his reserve team debut with a remarkable hat-trick against a Burnley side containing several seasoned campaigners. On 25 November 2010 Guidetti signed an initial one month loan deal with Burnley, with a possible option for Burnley to extend the loan when it expired on 3 January 2011. On 26 December 2010, in his first start for Burnley, he scored his first goal in a 2–1 victory at Barnsley. He scored his first goal from open play for Feyenoord against Vitesse in the 4–0 away win, netting two goals in the game. On 18 December 2011 he scored a hat-trick in Feyenoord\'s 3–2 victory on FC Twente. On 29 January 2012, he recorded his second consecutive hat-trick, scoring three goals in De Klassieker against Ajax, which Feyenoord won 4–2, their first victory in 6 years over the arch-rivals. On 12 February he scored his third hat-trick since joining the club in a home game in a 3–1 win against Vitesse. Guidetti has played 14 matches and has scored 14 goals for Sweden\'s various \'Under-19\' national squads.
