Julian Lane MMA

Julian Lane started his amateur MMA journey in 2008 at NAAFS: Rumble on the Runway against Cory Bresson. Lane lost the fight but bounced back in his next fight to go on a 2-fight win streak. The winning streak ended in 2009 when Wally MacDonald submitted Lane via first-round armbar submission. His losing streak extended to 3 before Lane got into the winning column again in 2010 against Harold Stewart at NAAFS: Midwest Combat Challenge 11. After this victory, Julian turned professional.

Julian Lane made his professional MMA debut at PCF 4 against Larry Ray. He won the fight via first-round guillotine choke submission. Lane continued the momentum and won his next 3-fights before joining the 16th season of The Ultimate Fighter as a participant. He lost the show in the opening round bout.

After the show, Julian made his Bellator debut at Bellator 66 against Joe Heiland. He won the fight via first-round submission and then competed in the regional circuit. In the regional circuit, he amassed a mixed record of 7-wins, 7-losses, and 1-draw throughout 4-years of competing before returning to the Ultimate Fighter in season 25. Lane lost in the opening round of the show and failed to get a UFC contract.

After the show, Julian amassed an MMA record of 1-2 in his three fights before retiring from MMA to become a bare-knuckle boxer.

Julian Lane Ultimate Fighter
