Alba Fyre

Alba Fyre previously known as Kay Lee Ray is a Scottish professional wrestler signed to WWE, as of January 2025. She is assigned to the RAW brand and teams up with Isla Dawn. She is the longest-reigning NXT UK Women's Champion. Besides, she has also won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship once each.

Early Life

Alba Fyre’s real name is Kayleigh Kerr. She was born on August 11, 1992, in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.

Wrestling Career

Independent Circuit (2009-2019)

In 2009, Rae made her wrestling debut at Battlezone. Rae spent the next decade performing on several independent promotions such as NWA, Insane Championship Wrestling, TNA, WCPW, and WOS. She won the ICW Women's Championship on three separate occasions.

WWE Career (2019 - Present)

Rey (now Alba Fyre) made her WWE debut in 2015, appearing in NXT and the Mae Young Classic, where she lost in the first round. She signed with WWE in 2019, debuting on NXT UK and winning the NXT UK Women's Championship at TakeOver: Cardiff, becoming the first British-born champion. She successfully defended the title against Toni Storm and Piper Niven but lost it in 2021 to Meiko Satomura after a 649-day reign.

She later joined NXT, teasing a face turn and competing in various feuds, including a tag team run with Io Shirai. In 2022, she rebranded as Alba Fyre, forming a tag team with Isla Dawn. They won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship in April 2023. After being drafted to SmackDown, they faced Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler in a unification match. They returned in December 2023, attacking Damage CTRL and were dubbed "The Unholy Union."

In June 2024, Fyre and Dawn won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at Clash at the Castle. They successfully defended the titles in July 2024 against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. At WWE Bash in Berlin, the two lost the titles back to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

Alba Fyre Husband

Alba Fyre is married to Stephen Kerr, a fellow professional wrestler known by the name Stevie Boy. The two got married to each other in July 2021, and Fyre took to her Twitter account to share this news with her fans. In an interview with The Mirror, Fyre revealed that the two had been dating each other for a very long time. When Fyre was 15 years old, her boyfriend Stephen Kerr was mad about joining professional wrestling, and this became the reason Fyre entered the sport, as she revealed.

Alba Fyre Family

Bridgeen Mitchell and Ronnie are the parents of Alba Fyre. As per the Metro, her mother unfortunately passed away due to a road accident on May 17, 2024. As per the report, the two were driving in Orlando, Florida, going to meet their daughter, when they met with the accident. Her step-father Ronnie survived the accident but her mother Bridgeen Mitchell unfortunately passed away at the age of 51.
