Professional Wrestling Career

Omega made his first appearance in 2008 to face Kota Ibushi through DDT Pro Wrestling. He formed a tag team with Ibushi called Golden Lovers. In 2011, Omega wrestled a nine-year-old girl, which created a lot of buzz around him. In 2014, Omega dubbed himself as the Cleaner and turned heel by becoming the newest member of The Bullet Club. He defeated Ryusuke Taguchi to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship for the first time at Wrestle Kingdom 9. After several defenses; he lost the title to Kushida at Dominion. He regained the title in September with the help of Karl Anderson. Omega lost the title to Kushida at Wrestle Kingdom 10. After the match, the stable turned on AJ Styles and crowned Omega as their leader.

Moxley and AEW World Tag Team Championship (2019-2020)
Omega was one of the founding figures for AEW. At All in, Omega faced Pentagon Jr. At Double or Nothing, Moxley debuted and viciously attacked Kenny Omega after losing to Chris Jericho. The two feuded for months and faced each other in an Unsanctioned Lights Out match at Full Gear 2019. Omega started teaming up with Hangman Adam Page. At Jericho's cruise, they defeated SCU for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. They faced several opponents before their dissension due to storyline alcoholism from Page. At All Out 2020, the duo lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship to FTR.
Hangman and Omega officially split and faced each other at Full Gear to earn a championship opportunity, which Omega won. At Winter is Coming, Jon Moxley lost the title to Kenny Omega who turned heel. Kenny aligned himself with Don Callis, The Young Bucks, and The Good Brothers to form the stable, The Elite.
World Champion (2020-2021)

Omega ignited his rivalry with Hangman Adam Page. At Full Gear 2021, Omega lost the title to Hangman Adam Page. Due to several injuries, Omega took time off and went on an indefinite period of leave.
In August 2022, after Adam Cole betrayed The Young Bucks, Omega made his AEW return and allied himself with the Bucks to partake in the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW World Trios Champions. They defeated The Dark Order in the tournament final at All Out to become the inaugural champions. In the post-All Out media scrum, AEW World Champion CM Punk expressed his displeasure on how AEW EVP's worked. Omega and Bucks are the EVPs of the company. Reportedly, the trio and Punk and Ace Steel got in a backstage fight after the interview. On the September 7 episode of Dynamite, AEW CEO Tony Khan addressed the situation and suspended Bucks, Omega and Punk and stripped all the titles.
Omega and The Young Bucks returned to AEW at Full Gear while CM Punk returned next year in June. Upon returning, Omega and Bucks challenged the World Trios Champion Death Triangle in a losing effort. It was then announced to be the first match in a seven-match series. From November to January, the two teams went back-and-forth finally leading to a 4-3 victory for Omega and Bucks. The trio, however, lost it just a few weeks later to House of Black at AEW Revolution. At the same time, Blackpool Combat Club had been feuding against their former friend Hangman Page. Page, Omega and Bucks then reformed The Elite to go against BCC. While they lost at Double or Nothing in Anarchy in Arena match, The Elite finally won the Blood and Guts match on July 19 to end the feud.
Omega challenged MJF for the AEW Championship in an impromptu match at Collision in October 2023 in a losing effort. At the same time, he started hanging around with Chris Jericho and named the teams the Golden Jets. Presently, he is booked to face The Young Bucks at AEW Full Gear.
