Marco Andretti was born on March 13, 1987, in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and is an American auto racing driver from the famous Andretti family. He is the son of Michael Andretti, who was a champion in IndyCar racing. He is also the grandson of Mario Andretti, who won the Formula One World Championship and the Indianapolis 500. Marco Andretti began his professional career with Andretti Autosport in the IndyCar Series in 2006. He finished second in the same year's Indianapolis 500, one of the closest finishes in the race's history.
