Mason Ryan: A Brief Biography
Barri Griffiths is a Welsh actor and professional wrestler best known for his work with WWE as Mason Ryan. He is a former FCW World Champion.
Professional Wrestling Career
Early Years and Training (2006-2008)
In 2006, Griffiths began his training to become a professional wrestler. After finishing his training, Griffiths wrestled in different countries, including Egypt and Venezuela.
WWE (2009-2014)
In 2009, Griffiths signed a five deal with the company where he spent the first year at FCW. In 2011, he joined the main roster. He made his debut on RAW and joined The New Nexus and helped Punk. While working with The New Nexus, he entered the Royal Rumble match to assist Punk. In June, he got injured and parted ways with the stable. He made his return in September. After a few appearances, they sent him to NXT for further training. He spent the next two years working at NXT. He was used sporadically, and he feuded with Enzo and Cass before leaving the company.
