Matt Hume
Matt Hume is an American MMA fighter and is the founder and the head trainer of the AMC Pankration in Kirkland. He has trained some of the top fighters in the world, including Bibiano Fernandes and Demetrious Johnson, as well as, Josh Barnett, Bob Sapp, Chris Leben, Rich Franklin, Caros Fodor, Matt Brown etc.

Matt Hume Biography
Matt Hume’s father was a Seattle police officer trained in Judo, boxing and Bruce Lee. Matt competed in wrestling, karate and boxing as a child. When he graduated he competed in Kickboxing and won the North American Super Welterweight Title.
It was in Pancrase that Matt Hume fight fought in MMA. He won several fights there and lost several as well, coming up with an even record of 5-5. Outside Pancrase, he won both his fights against Pat Miletich and Erik Paulson.
He founded the Pankration since retiring due to injury and become a rather famous trainer, training top fighters like ‘Mighty Mouse’ Demetrious Johnson.
