Mohit Chillar: A Brief Biography
Mohit Chhillar is an Indian national kabaddi player who plays for Jaipur Pink Panthers in the Pro Kabaddi League. Born on 13 July, 1993, he hails from Nizampur. Mohit has been an integral part of the team and soared in popularity from the first season. He was also among the top 20 defenders and performed extremely well while pinning down his opponents in brilliant tackles in the league matches. He plays as defender in the right corner position.
Background
Mohit works as a clerk with North-Western Railway. He has played for U Mumba for the first three seasons and was later bought by Bengaluru Bulls for a whopping Rs. 53 lakhs in Season 4.
He is considered as one of the versatile defenders who can handle well in any defensive setup. He is well versed in complementing the other corner defender and form a successful partnership with his overpowering skill set of holds and dashes.
PKL Journey
Mohit debuted with U Mumba as a right corner defender in the first season and was retained in the team for the following two years. He was then signed by Bengaluru Bulls in the fourth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
Prominent Achievements
Mohit has played for the Indian teams which won the gold medal in the Kabaddi World Cup 2016 and also in the 2016 South Asian Games. He was also a part of the team that won bronze in the 2018 Asian Games, held in Jakarta.
