Professional Wrestling Career

Early Years (2016-2019)
In 2016, Crawford signed with WWE and began working at NXT. They changed Crawford's name to Montez Ford. In March, Ford began teaming up with Angelo Dawkins and formed The Street Profits. The first two years, they worked their way in the tag team division and faced several notable teams. At TakeOver XXV, they defeated The Undisputed Era, Forgotten Sons, and Lorcan and Burch. In 2018, The Street Profits went to Evolve and won the Evolve Tag Team Championship.
Main Roster Debut and Tag Temam Champions (2019-2021)
After losing the titles to The Undisputed Era, they were drafted to RAW. They spent the first few weeks performing backstage segments. In October, they made their debut and defeated The Club. In February, The Street Profits defeated Murphy and Rollins to win the RAW Tag Team Championships. At WrestleMania 36, they defeated Angel Garza and Austin Theory.
The reign lasted for 224 days after which they became the SmackDown Tag Team Champions during the draft. At Survivor Series, they defeated The New Day in a champions vs champions match. In January, they lost the titles to The Dirty Dawgs. In 2021, they were drafted to RAW. At WWE Day One, they challenged RK-Bro for the RAW Tag Team Championship but failed to win the title. He entered the Royal Rumble match at number 6 but was eliminated without a single elimination. He spent a total of 9 minutes and 10 seconds inside the match.
Title Challenges (2022 - Present)
They once again challenged RK-Bro, this time at WrestleMania 38. The match became a triple-threat match involving Chad Gable and Otis. Ford and Dawkins failed to win the match and embraced Randy Orton and Riddle after the match. After The Usos merged the RAW and the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, Street Profits challenged them at Money in the Bank and then at SummerSlam but failed to win the title on either occasion. Their next bout came at Clash at the Castle where Street Profits and Madcap Moss defeated Austin Theory and Alpha Academy.
In Royal Rumble 2023, Montez Ford entered the Royal Rumble match at number 23. Unfortunately for him, Ford spent only 44 seconds in the ring before being eliminated by Damian Priest. Ford failed to make any eliminations either. He then spent some time in singles competition and qualified for the US Championship match at Elimination Chamber, which Theory won. On Night One of WrestleMania 39, Ford and Dawkins won the WrestleMania Men's Fatal Four Way Showcase match. During the 2023 WWE Draft, the two superstars were drafted to SmackDown.
The Street Profits mainly remained out of action but appeared in segments alongside Bobby Lashley. They turned heel for the first time in their WWE career in August 2023. Bobby Lashley took the helm of the two stars and the three teamed up for the first time against Latino World Order at Fastlane 2023. At the event, Carlito made his return and joined Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar. Ford, Dawkins, and Lashley lost this match.
On November 24, The Street Profits challenged The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship but lost due to interference from Rhea Ripley, completing their face turn. They then formed a faction with Lashley and B-Fab called The Pride. At SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution, The Pride solidified their status as fan favorites after Lashley was attacked by Karrion Kross and the Authors of Pain, sparking a feud that ended with The Pride defeating them in a Philadelphia Street Fight at WrestleMania XL.
In April, The Street Profits earned a title shot at Austin Theory and Grayson Waller’s WWE Tag Team Championship but failed to win. Lashley later withdrew from the King of the Ring tournament due to injury, with Dawkins replacing him but losing to Tama Tonga. In August, The Pride disbanded following Lashley’s WWE departure, though Ford and Dawkins remained aligned with B-Fab without further mention of the group. On November 15, The Street Profits faced the Motor City Machine Guns for the Tag Team Championship. The match ended in a no contest after Tommaso Ciampa interfered. After the chaos, Dawkins punched Alex Shelley, who had tried to help him up, teasing a possible heel turn for the duo.
