Sahana Kumari

Sahana Kumari is an Indian athlete who competes in the high jump event. Sahana was the last Indian athlete to qualify for the London Games. She participated the 52nd National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships breaking the eight year old national record set by Bobby Aloysius thus qualifying for the B standar Olympic berth. On 8 August 2012, Sahana was eliminated from the women\'s high jump competition at the Olympic Games when she failed to clear 1.85 m. She is the current national record holder at 1.92 m.
