Sharice Davids started her MMA journey as an amateur in 2006 and made her debut at ISFC Midwest Fightfest against Courtney Martel. Davids won the fight inside one a minute via triangle choke submission. She lost her next fight against Shamrock FC against Erin Roper inside 2-minutes via armbar submission. Following this fight, Davids won on a 3-year hiatus and returned to competition in 2010.
Davids fought her next fights at Ultimate Blue Corner Battles, winning 2 of her fights via TKO and 1 via triangle choke submission. She next fought Heather Rafferty at Pride and Pain MMA and won via unanimous decision.
