Shotzi Blackheart

Ashley Louise Urbanski is an American professional wrestler signed with WWE. She is best known for her work with Evolve and WWE. She goes by the name Shotzi Blackheart.

Ashley Louise Alfaro is the real name of Shotzi. As per California Birth Index, Shotzi was born on March 14, 1992, in Santa Clara County, California, USA.

Professional Wrestling Career

Early Years and Evolve (2014-2019)

Blackheart frequently appeared in several promotions, such as All-Pro Wrestling, Bar Wrestling, and Big Time Wrestling. In 2015, Blackheart sent a participation video for the sixth season of WWE Tough Enough. However, she could not take part and withdrew due to an undiagnosed irregular heartbeat, causing a failed medical. She made a small appearance in Impact Wrestling in 2018.

WWE

NXT (2019-2021)

In October, Blackheart signed with the company and began working with NXT. In 2020, Blackheart took part in a Women's Battle Royal to face the NXT Women's Champion. She eliminated Shayna Baszler and was later attacked by her. After Royal Rumble, she teamed up with Tegan Nox to face Sasha Banks and Bayley for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship and lost.

She started winning a few matches and faced Io Shirai for the NXT Championship, which she lost. At Halloween Havoc, she hosted the event and assisted Shirai in keeping her championship. At WarGames, Team Shotzi lost to Team Candice. She formed a tag team with Ember Moon and entered the inaugural Women's Tag Team Classic and lost to Kai and Gonzalez. They faced Kai and Gonzalez for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship and won. The reign ended in 55 days when The Way defeated them for the titles.

SmackDown (2021 - 2024)

Shotzi, formerly known as Shotzi Blackheart, debuted in WWE on the July 9, 2021 episode of SmackDown, where she teamed with Tegan Nox as Shotzi & Nox. However, the team was disbanded after the 2021 WWE Draft, which saw Nox move to Raw, while Shotzi remained on SmackDown. Shortly thereafter, Shotzi turned heel, attacking Sasha Banks after a loss to Charlotte Flair in a championship contenders match.

Shotzi's time on SmackDown included participation in major pay-per-views such as Survivor Series 2021, the Royal Rumble 2022, and Money in the Bank 2022. She also teamed with Xia Li in the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament but was eliminated in the first round. In September 2022, Shotzi turned face after saving Raquel Rodriguez from an attack by Damage CTRL. Later, she and Rodriguez unsuccessfully challenged for the Women's Tag Team Championship, with Bayley interfering in their match.

In November 2022, Shotzi earned a SmackDown Women’s Championship match against Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series WarGames, but was unsuccessful due to interference from Shayna Baszler. Shotzi's feud with Damage CTRL continued into 2023, with them attacking her and cutting her hair. In response, Shotzi shaved her hair off, not only as part of the storyline but as a tribute to her sister, who was battling bile duct cancer. She revealed her new look at a house show in Mexico City. At Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, Shotzi, along with Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch, defeated Damage CTRL in a WarGames match.

In early 2024, Shotzi faced NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria in a title match but suffered a knee injury, leading to an abrupt end to the match. Shotzi was set to compete in a qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber, but due to a torn ACL, she was ruled out for approximately nine months, and her spot was taken by Alba Fyre.

NXT (2024 - Present)

Shotzi returned from injury on December 10, 2024, on NXT, coming to the aid of Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley during an attack by Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx). This led to a feud with Fatal Influence and an alliance with Dolin and Paxley. The teams clashed at NXT: New Year's Evil on January 7, 2025, where Shotzi's team emerged victorious.
