Tanga Loa is a professional wrestler currently making signed to the WWE SmackDown brand. His real name is Tevita Tu'amoeloa Fetaiakimoeata Fifita. He made his professional debut in 2008 and boasts over 16 years of experience in the ring. Tanga Loa is no stranger to WWE, having previously competed here under the name Camacho from 2009 to 2014.

Early Life

Tama Tonga’s real name is Tevita Tu'amoeloa Fetaiakimoeata Fifita. He was born on May 7, 1983, in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. He is the son of WWE Legend Haku. Tonga attended the University of Texas at El Paso on a football scholarship, playing as a defensive end. His academic achievements include a degree in Liberal Arts with a major in Communications & Electronic Media, along with a minor in Criminal Justice.

Professional Wrestling Career

WWE (2009 - 2014)

Tanga Loa, then known as Tevita Fifita, began his wrestling journey in WWE's developmental territory, FCW, in 2009. He went through several name changes (Tonga, Agent T, Donny Marlow) and even captured the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship with a partner before moving to the main roster in 2011.

Camacho's partnership with Hunico continued, with the duo appearing on both NXT and the main roster shows like Superstars and Main Event. They primarily competed in tag matches, facing established teams like The Usos, The Ascension, and even WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth (though in a non-title match). Their success was limited, with more losses than wins.

Camacho also had some solo ventures on NXT, most notably trying (and failing) to claim a bounty for taking down Big E Langston. By 2013, Hunico suffered an injury, leaving Camacho to compete solo on NXT for a while. The duo eventually reunited and continued their tag team pursuits with mixed results.

After his solo run on NXT, Camacho found himself without a partner when Hunico returned under the Sin Cara mask. His most notable storyline involved a feud with Adam Rose. This culminated in a losing effort for Camacho at NXT TakeOver, marking his final televised match in WWE before his release in June 2014.

TNA Wrestling (2015 - 2016)

Tanga Loa, then under the ring name Micah, found success upon entering TNA's Gut Check competition in February 2015, earning a roster spot with the company. Debuting in March alongside wrestlers Drew Galloway and Eli Drake as part of "The Rising" stable, Micah participated in various tag matches and even challenged Kenny King for the X Division Championship, though unsuccessfully.

Despite initial momentum, The Rising disbanded in July after a loss to a rival group. Micah continued competing for a few more months, participating in the TNA World Title Series and teaming with other wrestlers, but his final match came in December 2015. He was subsequently released from TNA shortly thereafter.

NJPW (2018 - 2024)

Tanga Loa, along with his brother Tama Tonga, joined the Bullet Club stable in NJPW in March 2016. They formed the tag team "Guerrillas of Destiny" (G.O.D.) and quickly rose to prominence, winning the IWGP Tag Team Championship in their debut match. This reign would be the first of many title changes, with G.O.D. engaging in several rivalries and capturing the IWGP Tag Team Championship a total of three times in 2016.

They also participated in the World Tag League tournament, reaching the finals in both 2016 and 2017 but ultimately falling short. By the end of 2017, G.O.D. had expanded their trophy case to include the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship, though they would lose and regain that title within a two-week span in early 2018.

They remained mostly neutral during a Bullet Club leadership struggle in 2018, but eventually sided with his brother Tama Tonga against Kenny Omega's "Elite" faction, solidifying their own version of Bullet Club. G.O.D. captured the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship again in early 2019 before regaining the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles for a record-setting fifth reign.

Tanga Loa's journey in NJPW continued to be successful after the pandemic hiatus. Guerrillas of Destiny finally claimed victory in the World Tag League tournament in 2020 and even achieved a first-time IWGP Tag Title win at the Tokyo Dome. However, their championship reign was short-lived, and they eventually lost the titles back to Dangerous Tekkers. Unfortunately, a knee injury sidelined Loa for most of 2022, but he made a return in 2023 to compete in the G1 Climax tournament, though he wasn't able to advance past the group stage. His final match in NJPW came in March 2024, where he challenged for the KOPW trophy but fell short.

WWE (2024 - Present)

On the RAW after WrestleMania, Tama Tonga made his WWE debut by attacking Jimmy Uso and aligning himself with The Bloodline. At Backlash France, Sikoa and Tonga teamed up against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. At the event, Tanga Loa made his WWE debut and helped The Bloodline win the match.

Haku (Father)

Tanga Loa's father is the legendary wrestler Haku, also known as Tonga 'Uli'uli Fifita. Haku is a highly respected figure in professional wrestling, having carved out a successful career in promotions like World Wrestling Federation (WWF), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Tama Tonga (Adoptive Brother)

Tama Tonga is the nephew of Haku. Tonga and his brother Hikuleo were adopted by Haku at a young age and since then have grown up together with Tanga Loa. Tonga and Loa worked together in NJPW as members of G.O.D (Guerilla of Destiny) and went on to become one of the greatest tag teams in New Japan Pro Wrestling. In 2024, the two brothers joined The Bloodline.

Hikuleo (Adoptive Brother)

Hikuleo is the nephew of Tanga Loa's father, Haku. Haku adopted Hikuleo, making him Tanga Loa's adoptive brother.Both wrestlers have followed in their Haku’s footsteps, making out careers in professional wrestling. While they haven't competed as a tag team themselves yet, they were both members of the Bullet Club stable and share a close bond due to their familial connection.
