Víctor Danilo Cantillo Jiménez popularly known as Víctor Cantillo is a professional Colombian footballer, born on 15th October 1993 in Ciénaga, Colombia. He mainly operates from the central midfield. A right-footed player, Cantillo, currently plies his trade for Colombian side, Junior FC.
Background
Cantillo started his playing career at the B team of Atlético Nacional.
Debut
Cantillo made his professional debut in the Copa Colombia encounter against Rionegro Águilas in April 2013. He was substituted in the 60th-minute.
Cantillo got the national team call up for the international friendly match against France in March 2018, but the midfielder was stationed on the bench.
Rise to Glory
Cantillo enjoyed a successful second half of 2017. His good performance in the central midfield lifted Junior FC to win the Águila Cup in 2017.

Club Career
Cantillo appeared ten times for Atlético Nacional in his single season at the club. He lifted Clausura and Apertura titles with the side. In 2014, he joined the second-tier side, Atlético FC, and played 14 games. Next year, Cantillo moved to another second-division team, Leones FC.
He featured in 63 matches for the side in his two-year stint. In January 2017, the midfielder joined the top-tier side, Deportivo Pasto in his six-month stint, Cantillo played 23 matches. In July 2017, the midfielder shifted his base to Atlético Junior for a sum close to $1.5 million.
