Yaroslava Shvedova

Yaroslava Vyacheslavovna Shvedova is a Kazakhstani[ professional tennis player who is one of only two players to record a Golden Set in the professional era, the other being Bill Scanlon. A highly accomplished player, she has won one WTA singles title, three ITF Women\'s Circuit singles titles and six doubles titles, including the 2010 Wimbledon and US Open women\'s doubles titles. Two Grand Slam singles quarterfinals, at the 2010 and the 2012 French Open are a couple more notches in her belt. On 15 June 2012, Shvedova and her partner Sania Mirza made a shocking first-round exit from the AEGON Classic. She also received a wild card into the main draw at the 2012 Wimbledon Championships. She defeated Chanelle Scheepers and Kiki Bertens to reach the third round where she faced Sara Errani and won the second \"Golden Set\", thus making history.
