Zdenek Grygera: A Brief Biography
Zdeněk Grygera is a Czech football player who currently plays as a right back or centre back for Fulham. After being signed by Ajax in 2003, his first goal in a 5-0 win at Den Bosch soon rendered him a fan favourite, especially after scoring against bitter rivals Feyenoord in the April Klassieker. With almost a year left on his contract with Juventus, Grygera joined Fulham after the contract was rescinded by mutual consent. Grygera also played for his country, Czech Republic, at Euro 2004, World Cup in Germany and the Euro 2008.
