March 2023 has begun and all the OTT platforms are now set to release new (and old) films and TV shows. Amongst them is Amazon Prime Video. The Amazon-owned streaming giant has some exciting binge-worthy films and shows in line, ready to be released on the platform.

Amazon Prime Video is an American subscription video-on-demand over-the-top streaming and rental service that is available as a separate service or as part of Amazon's Prime membership. It was launched on September 7, 2006, which was nearly 16 years ago, by Amazon.

Is Amazon Prime Video free?

No. Amazon Prime Video is not free. In order to watch movies and TV shows on Prime, one can either rent it or pay the subscription amount to avail of the service throughout the month/ year. Talking about its price range, currently, the Amazon Prime membership pricing starts from $14.99 per month to $139 per year. For students, the membership pricing is $7.49 per month and $69 per year.

There is no chance of missing this series which is set to feature Hollywood stars Riley Keough as Daisy Jones and Sam Claflin as Billy Dunne. The series is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's book of the same name. Daisy Jones & The Six is about a rock band that rose to fame in the 1970s. The series is presented in a documentary style, including background interviews with the band. To be clear, the show is fictional and isn't based on reality.

The show was released on Amazon Prime on March 3.

12 Angry Men

The next movie is the 1975 classic film, 12 Angry Men, which is about a group of strangers who come together on a jury tasked with coming to a verdict in a murder trial. The movie was directed by the late Sidney Lumet and is based on a play by Reginald Rose.

The movie was released on Amazon Prime on March 1.

The Silent Twins
