Doesn't Deserve to be in the Hall of Fame #2: Buff Bagwell
We mentioned before that the NWO was flooded with lower-tier wrestlers after a while. You don't get much lower tier than Buff Bagwell.
Marcus Alexander Bagwell was one of WCW's first 'homegrown' talents. He was very young and inexperienced when he was first signed to the company in the early 1990s, but the company thought he was a future star and had him mentored by big names such as Masahiro Chono.
Bagwell would eventually be paired with fellow young blue-chipper Scotty Riggs, who he teamed up with as the American Males. They won the tag team titles as underdogs against Harlem Heat and then proceeded to slide into obscurity.
Bagwell improved his physique, if not his in-ring game, and was soon drafted into the NWO, betraying his former partner. But with Scott Steiner already having done the same thing, it just didn't have much impact with fans.
