Steve Darby has been a Soccer Australia Staff Coach, FIFA Instructor for Oceania and an Asian Football Confederation Coaching Instructor. He has played/Coached professionally in England, USA, Bahrain, Australia and Fiji. He has coached in the Malaysian National League with Johor F.A, winning promotion for the club as well as the Malaysian F.A. Cup. He has also won an SEA games gold medal with Vietnam. After a spell with Sheffield Wednesday in England he coached Home Utd in Singapore to a League and Cup double and an AFC Cup semifinal. This was followed by a Super Cup victory with Perak in the Malaysian League. He followed this by serving as Thailand’s national team coach for 3 years, working with Managers Peter Reid and Bryan Robson. He also had a spell in India as head coach of Mohun Bagan. Recently he worked as Everton FC coaching consultant in China. He has even choreographed a football scene in a Bollywood movie!
