Anime Vanguards has quickly become one of the most popular anime-themed tower defense experiences on Roblox. The game has a variety of units based on iconic animanga characters. However, it can be quite confusing to build a good deck due to the large number of available options.

This tier list aims to help you identify the best characters in the title and the ones that you should not waste your resources on.

Note: The tier list is subjective and solely based on the writer's opinion.

The units in this tier list are divided into the following categories: S, A, B, and C. Those in the S tier are the cream of the crop. They have the best skills and high damage output that lets them deal with enemy waves quite easily. The units in other tiers are great if you know how to use them.

It is worth noting that this tier list considers the awakened forms of some of the units separately from their base forms. Hence, it ranks them according to their power and performance.

We recommend you use this list as a reference rather than something set in stone. If a unit in the lower tiers works for you, then you should keep it in your deck.

While knowing about the best units in the game is necessary, several players might not know how to obtain them.

Every player in this Roblox experience gets to choose from three starter units - Ichiga, Norutu, and Luffo. These characters help you collect Gems, a currency that lets you summon better units.

To get a new unit, visit the Summoning portal and spend 50 Gems to summon one. However, obtaining good characters is a matter of luck. You might obtain the powerful Alocard with minimal effort or struggle to get even lower-tier units.

You should keep an eye on the Legendary and Mythic Pity bars. When the bars are full, you have the best chance of obtaining a unit from that rarity.
