BedWars features a plethora of game modes, of which the Classic mode is one. In this mode, you will be battling other opponents while protecting your Bed at the same time. To defend yourself, you can use the in-game currency to buy new weapons and armor. The game instantly catches pace and makes it a bit difficult for beginners to adapt.

For them, we have created this BedWars' Classic mode guide, which explains the objectives along with how to play it.

BedWars: Classic mode objectives

In Classic mode, your main goal is to survive as the last player (or team) standing. To do so, you can use weapons to kill your enemies. However, it should be noted that every player will respawn after a few seconds. The only way to permanently kill an opponent is by destroying their Beds.

Your opponent's Bed is the source of why they keep on respawning. Once it is destroyed, they won't be able to respawn and hence, will be eliminated from the match.

How to play the Classic mode in BedWars

In this mode, you can queue in several match-making lobbies:

Squads: Spawn in a server with four teams of four players each.
Doubles: Spawn in a server with eight teams of two players each.
Solos: Spawn in a server with eight players including you.
5v5: Spawn in a server with two teams of five players each.
30v30: Spawn in a server with two teams of 30 players each.
Voice Chat: It is a squad match but with voice chat enabled. All players should have the voice chat enabled.

Upon entering a match, you can purchase items from the merchant at your base. For beginner-level items, you will have to spend Irons. Luckily, you will have a Team Generator that will produce Iron every second.

There are also Diamond and Emerald generators on the map from where you can collect the respective resources. Diamonds and Emeralds are used to purchase better items from the shop. Moreover, they are also required to upgrade your stats.

Unlike SkyWars mode, your Kits aren't disabled in the Classic mode. That said, you are free to use your Kit's abilities to rush into the enemy territories. Once you are well-equipped, head into the enemy territory and destroy their Bed. This will make them lose the ability to respawn. Taking advantage of this situation, you can use your weapon to kill them.

Note: After almost 20 minutes into the match, all the Beds on the server will automatically be destroyed. This is when you will have to rush and eliminate enemies to win the match.

Remember, a team is not eliminated until all the players are killed. They are in the match as long as even a single player is standing. The team that survives till the end will win the match, eventually rewarding a significant amount of XP.
