As mentioned, the new Bedwars Summer Event update has added numerous new features and items to the game, all while making it easier for payers to collect rewards. Here is everything that has changed, added, or modified in the game:

New Triton Kit

A brand new movement kit called Triton has been added to the game, allowing you to hurl a trident towards an object and move towards it rapidly. However, you need to spend 399 Robux to purchase it at the Kit Shop in BedWards.

Changes to the BedWards Summer Showdown 2024 event

• The rate of collecting shells has been increased.
• The amount of shell contribution earned in-game has been doubled.
• All event missions now contribute shells.
• The losing team now has an extra mission.
• The daily mission reward has been increased from 100 to 2000 Sand Dollars.
• The weekly mission reward has been increased from 5000 to 6000 Sand Dollars.
• A new global milestone at 45,000,000 now awards 10,000 Sand Dollars.

New additions to the Event Shop

The developer has added several new cosmetics to the Summer Event Shop that you can now purchase. These include:

• Siren Melody (Kit Skin)
• Icy Delight (Animated Emote)
• Turtle/Crab Dance (Kill Effect)

New balances and other changes

The new update has also brought several changes to the game. However, not all of them are buffs. Many things have been nerfed to make the game interesting and slightly more challenging. Below are all the kit balances:

Umbra:

• Decreased Hat Price from 50 iron to 35 iron
• Decreased teleport charge time from 2s to 1.5s

Umeko:

• Increased iron, diamond, and emerald chakram range

Marina:

• Increased electrify jellyfish ability from 5s to 7s
• Restricted jellyfish placement

Sigrid:

• Uppercut Charge now has a flat energy cost
• Consumes more energy when moving
• Energy consumption has been vastly increased when Charging.
• Charge Duration decreased from 6s to 5s
• Charge Cooldown reduced from 18s to 10s

Adetunde:

• Decreased hammer damage Lv 1 from 35 to 32, Lv 2 from 44 to 40, and Lv 3 from 60 to 55
• Decreased chance of earning a crystal on-hit from 95% to 90%

Caitlyn:

• Slightly decrease contract upgrade scaling

Beekeeper:

• Decreased emerald drop chance

Enchant Balances

Fortune:

• Decreased fortune enchant timer from 75s to 45s

Other changes:

• The center of the map now decays slower and is immune to Block Decay. The top and bottom are affected faster.

Bug Fixes:

• Marina can no longer place jellyfish inside map blocks.
• Blocks can’t be placed in the space jellyfish directly occupy.
• Clicking consecutive bundles now displays the right price of the Fixed Bundles.
• Diamond Guardian can no longer phase through walls.
• Hephaestus block collision no longer breaks bed defenses.
