Color or Die is hosting the Xmas Event, where players must complete tasks while evading the boogeyman around the maze. Although it sounds easy and familiar, the actual tasks can get confusing if you don't know what to do and where to look. This is quite normal given the outline of the map.

Hence, this article will help you participate and complete the Xmas Event in the game, complete all the tasks, and come out alive and victorious.

A Brief Guide to the Xmas Event in Color or Die

To begin the event, you must go near the "Click to open" door and keep clicking until the whole door is black. Go through the door and pick up the can of color, before going either right or left. Once inside, your goal is to find paintbrushes and the wall that needs to be painted the color you're wearing.

However, it can take some time and effort to locate the right wall to paint. So be patient and keep dodging the boogeyman. You can do so by either running away or standing against a wall of the same color as you. Once you find the right wall to paint, click on it multiple times. This will remove the color from you.

Find the screwdriver inside and use it to open the locked panel in one of the walls. This will give you access to a separate location with some sort of obby. Completing the obby will help you reach the next part of the map and obtain a different color. You must complete a number of such obby before you can reach the exit and complete this event in Color or Die.

Tips and tricks for completing the event in Color or Die

While the ongoing Xmax event follows the same route as the other maps, there are some tips and tricks you can employ to complete the tasks efficiently and reach the exit. These mainly include dodging the boogeyman and knowing where to go on the map. You can use the instructions mentioned below to complete the event. However, it is worth noting that it all comes down to your gameplay style in the end.

First, roam around the map and check out all the walls that match your color. This will help you get a bearing on your surroundings.
Watch out for the boogeyman as you will die if it catches up to you. Fortunately, your screen starts getting glitchy whenever it is near. When this happens, start running and stand still in front of the wall that matches your color.
Watch other players on the map who share your color. You can team up and find the unpainted wall, paint it, obtain the screwdriver, and enter the obby together.
Some of the obby can be quite challenging. Hence, we recommend being patient and watching how other players are completing the challenge.
Utilize the save zone when you are uncolored and the boogeyman is chasing you around the map.
You can get inside smaller rooms To hide from the boogeyman. He can often not enter these tight places.
Try running towards other players when the boogeyman is changing you to shake him off your back.
