When loading the game, it will notify you of several missions that you must complete to get the free creature.

• Grow 2 tiny creatures to age 100.
• Nest or be nested 3 times by a tiny creature at night.
• Experience a Blood Moon 1 time.

To complete these quests, you must enter the event area and explore the map.
