In Anime Vanguards, you will have the opportunity to summon characters from popular manga/anime series. These characters are known as Units that can help you defeat the enemies. As you level up, enemies will grow stronger with you. However, you can ascend the units and enhance their capabilities further.

Ascension is completely different from the Evolution process, and this article will explain how you can ascend your units in Anime Vanguards, also talking about what it does and its benefits.

What is Ascension in Anime Vanguards

Ascension is a process in this Roblox experience that makes your units stronger. It increases the base stats of the units and makes them outmatch their potential. The three stats in this game are Damage, Speed per Attack, and Range. Each stat is ranked either Z+, Z, S, A, B, C, or D, wherein Z+ is the highest rank.

If you are not satisfied with your stat, you can use the Stat Reroll feature. However, it does not guarantee a better stat in exchange. Instead, you can ascend the unit to enhance the stats significantly. Also, do note that only Mythic rarity units are eligible for ascension. The reason for this is still undisclosed by the developers.

How to Ascend Units in Anime Vanguards

To ascend a unit, there are some prerequisites that you must fulfill. First, you will need a duplicate of the unit you want to ascend. Next, you must have the resources required for ascending the unit. The ascension resource for every unit is different, i.e., you will know find out the resources you need while ascending.

Begin the ascension process by heading over to the NPC called Kokashi. You can find him near the Summon area. Interact with him and the ascension window will open. Therein, place the unit you want to ascend in the left window.

After doing so, you will see the required items in the "Requirements" bar below. Make sure you have those items and click on the "Ascend" button to get the job done. Since ascension is all about sacrifice, you will lose the duplicate unit. However, the other one will receive its benefits by receiving significant stat boosts.

Remember, each unit can be ascended three times in this game. The number of times you have ascended is represented by the stars in the ascension menu. Ascending one time will give you one star and so on.
