The RPG-style gameplay allows gamers to do things at their own pace without having to worry about quests or boss fights. However, to get better and catch bigger fish, you will need to upgrade your fishing rod as well as obtain new ones. However, this can be confusing if you don't know what's on offer.

Plastic Rod - This rod can be obtained from the Moosewood Village for 900 C$.
Fast Rod - This can be obtained from the Moosewood Village merchant for 4500 C$.
Lucky Rod - This can be acquired for 5250 C$ from the Moosewood Village merchant.
Fortune Rod - To get this fishing rod, you must visit Roslit and talk with the NPC blacksmith. He sells this rod for 12,750 C$.
Nocturnal Rod - You can purchase this rod for 11,000 C$ at Vertigo.
Long Rod - You can find this rod on the rocks in the Moosewood Village. However, you must pay 4500 C$ to pick it up.
Magma Rod - To obtain this fishing rod, you must first catch a Pufferfish and give it to the Orc. He will give you this rod as a reward.
Rapid Rod - You can obtain this rod for 14,000 C$ at Roslit.
Magnet Rod - To get this rod, you must visit Terrapin and spend 15,000 C$ to purchase it.
Steady Rod - After paying 7,000 C$, you can obtain this rod in Roslit.
Executive Rod - This special fishing rod is only available to admins.
Midas Rod - To get this rod, you must look out for the traveling merchant. He sells the rod for 55,000 C$.
Mythical Rod - The Mythical Rod costs a whopping 110,000 C$. You can purchase it from the traveling merchant.
King's Rod - This is a special rod, and you must first reach the Enchant Alter if you wish to obtain it. Then, you must spend 120,000 C$ to get this rod.
Destiny Rod - The rod costs 190,000 C$ and can be purchased in Caleia.
Fungal Rod - To obtain this rod, you must travel to the Mushroom Swamp. Here, you will meet a Mushroom NPC who will task you with catching alligators. Once you complete the task, he will give you the Fungal Rod as a reward.

How to find the traveling merchant in Roblox Fisch

The traveling merchant carries a lot of good items but can be quite hard to track. He visits the islands randomly. However, if you're grinding and stay in one location for a long time, you will eventually encounter him.
